Unlike the Old Testament believers who looked forward with hope, our faith looks back to the cross, to the moment where Jesus triumphed over sin and death. Our testimony is thus a reflection on the fulfillment of the promises that believers like Moses looked forward to.
The Unity of Faith across Time
This beautiful symmetry in the testimony of faith – Moses looking forward and we looking back – is a powerful reminder of the unity and continuity of God’s plan. From the prophecies of the Old Testament to the fulfillment in the New Testament, and our ongoing walk with Christ, there is a single thread of redemption and grace that runs through.
