Daniel 12:3 says, “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”
This verse paints a picture that’s hard to forget. God promises that those who live wisely, guided by His Word, will one day shine like the heavens. Their life will not be wasted, but bright with His glory.
It goes even further. Those who lead others to righteousness will shine like stars forever. The soul-winner’s reward is not short lived, it’s eternal. Every person you influence toward Christ adds to your eternal crown.
Charles Spurgeon once said that soul-winning leaves “a star in God’s heaven” for eternity. It is the highest work we can do because it deals with what never dies, the souls of men.
This verse should encourage us. Be wise in God’s truth. Share it with others. Point people to Christ. One day, your labor will not only be remembered, it will shine for ever and ever.
